The AkeaBLAST is a nutrient dense five time a day blast of 30-plus fermented superfoods, live probiotics, enzymes and minerals. Think of the AkeaBLAST as a day spa for your cells, putting your body in a rest, cleanse and rejuvenate mode while blasting your cells with high levels of focused nutrition. This is also when your body will burn the most fat.

What you will need

  1. AkeaBLAST Pack: There are one-, two- and four-week BLAST Packs, so speak to an Akea Consultant to determine the AkeaBLAST pack that’s right for you.
  2. A variety of mixers to mix with your Akea Essentials: We recommend organic, low sugar vegetable and fruit juice diluted with water, lemonade, tea, flavored waters, coconut water, or filtered water, tomato juice—just about any healthy beverage, but nothing hot due to the effect heat has on the live probiotics and enzymes in Essentials. Check out the list of mixers below for ideas.

Here you go… 3-2-1 AkeaBLAST off!

Week 1: Your first BLAST will be for three days, where you should lose 5 to 10 pounds while cleansing and resetting your system. During the three days you will replace all meals and snacks with five servings of Essentials, taken every 2 to 3 hours.

Week 2 & each week thereafter until you reach your goal: In week two and each week after, simply select two days that work with your social calendar and BLAST. During each of your BLAST days, you will again replace all meals and snacks with five servings of Essentials taken every 2 to 3 hours.

Congratulations! You reached your goal. To maintain your weight loss goal, you simply choose one day as needed and BLAST. This can be one day a week or a couple of times a month. You know your body best and will know when it’s time to BLAST. In addition, we highly recommend continuing to take one to two servings of Essentials per day, which will ensure you keep your energy level high while controlling your appetite and cravings, and help you look and feel your best!

Education is your best defense…

Your AkeaBLAST pack includes the BluePrint JumpStart—an eight week education program that will teach you the lifestyle and dietary habits of the healthiest, longest living people on earth. It will be delivered via email each day with a 2 to 3 minute video and two short articles with tips on how you can implement the lessons of that day. We hope you enjoy and apply these daily lessons!

Non-BLAST days

1st serving: Take your first serving in the morning before breakfast. This will give you great energy and curb your appetite while keeping your body in a resting, cleansing mode.

2nd serving: For your second serving, you have options of afternoon, and before or after dinner.

Afternoon: If you experience afternoon sinking spells, take Essentials in the afternoon. This will boost your energy and power you through the rest of the day.

Before dinner: If you have trouble with portion control and tend to overeat, take your second serving 15 to 20 minutes before dinner. This will greatly reduce your appetite and help you with portion control.

After Dinner: If you’re an evening snacker, take Essentials 20 to 30 minutes after dinner. This will crush the sugar and salt cravings that cause you to snack, and will put your body in a very satisfied state.

Additional BLAST tips

  • If you currently consume caffeine on a daily basis, we suggest you continue to consume some form of caffeine during your AkeaBLAST. Sudden caffeine withdrawal can cause severe headaches, which can be detrimental to your AkeaBLAST experience. Switching to a high quality, organic green tea over coffee is recommended. If you wish to continue drinking coffee, be sure to limit the amount of sugar, cream or other additives.
  • Begin your day by squeezing half a lemon in a warm 8-ounce glass of water while on your AkeaBLAST. This is recommended, but not required. Lemons are ideal to incorporate into any detoxification regimen. Fresh lemon juice will also help keep your skin even-toned and wrinkle-free.
  • Be sure to drink plenty of water every day especially on BLAST days. Drinking water provides a filling sensation and helps your body flush out toxins.
  • Those with a higher metabolism may need more than five servings per day. If you feel yourself getting hungry, go ahead and take another serving of Essentials. Essentials is 100% organic whole food, so it is completely safe to BLAST as many times a day as you want. The main thing is to not let yourself get hungry.

Mixing Akea Essentials

These quick and easy suggestions are fast and convenient ways to mix Akea Essentials while also providing variety in your daily beverages. To optimize your Blast! experience, you may want to incorporate fresh organic vegetable and fruit juices.

  • Apple or cranapple juice
  • Coconut water
  • Coconut water and blueberry pomegranate juice
  • Classic V8 Juice
  • V8 Fusion and organic apple juice
  • Pure grape (or crangrape) juice and water
  • Blueberry-pomegranate juice
  • Blueberry juice—tastes like a blueberry muffin in liquid form!
  • Vanilla or dark chocolate almond milk
  • Almond milk with a teaspoon of coffee or cocoa
